Thousand Geese

This work documents the story of a successful expedition undertaken by two well-known ornithologists, Peter Scott and James Fisher. Scott led this expedition to Iceland in order to discover more about the pink-footed goose, which is often found in Britain. During this trip, the team managed to catch and mark 1151 geese and goslings in their main breeding ground, which has led to a great deal more being discovered about this animal.
